On September 19, 2023, the 2021-2023 China Nonwoven Fabric Industry Social Responsibility Report, written by the Office for Social Responsibility of CNTAC, the China Industrial Textile Industry Association, and Sateri, was officially unveiled in Shanghai. This is the second China Nonwoven Fabric Industry Social Responsibility Report jointly released by the three units.

Li Lingshen, Vice President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council; Yan Yan, Director of the Office for Social Responsibility of CNTAC; Li Guimei, President of the China Industrial Textile Industry Association, and Liu Tao, Chairman of the Nonwoven Green Alliance of the Middle Class Association and Vice President of Sateri Group, jointly unveiled the report at the 11th China International Nonwoven Fabric Conference.

Under the global trend of green manufacturing and responsible consumption, the development of China's nonwoven fabric industry faces challenges from traditional social responsibility fields such as environment, supply chain, and society. Non woven fabrics are the core raw materials in fields such as healthcare, environmental protection, geotechnical construction, and transportation. They have made important contributions to the innovative development and, energy conservation, and emission reduction in these fields, enriching the connotation of social responsibility in the nonwoven fabric industry.

As a national industry organization in the field of nonwoven fabrics, the China Industrial Textile Industry Association actively promotes and carries out social responsibility work in the industry, strengthens communication and cooperation with national ministries and relevant international organizations, coordinates trade, environmental protection and consumption policies in the nonwoven fabric field, promotes advanced energy-saving and consumption reducing technologies, develops and applies green biodegradable materials, promotes the construction of green supply chains in key areas, creates greater value for the country and industry, and shares development achievements with relevant parties in the industry chain.

After three years of epidemic baptism, China's nonwoven fabric industry has undergone positive changes in technological innovation, advanced manufacturing, industrial structure, and green development. Maintaining timely and effective communication with stakeholders and the public is particularly important. After the release of the first social responsibility report on China's nonwoven fabric industry in 2020- the 2016/2020 China Nonwoven Fabric Industry Social Responsibility Report, in 2023, the China Industrial Textile Industry Association once again collaborated with the Office for Social Responsibility of CNTAC and Sateri to jointly write and release the 2021-2023 China Nonwoven Fabric Industry Social Responsibility Report.

This report is divided into eight parts: thematic cases, introduction to the nonwoven fabric industry, social responsibility strategy for the nonwoven fabric industry, industrial development responsibility, supply chain responsibility, environmental responsibility, human responsibility, challenges, and future prospects. It mainly reflects the social responsibility-related activities and events of China's nonwoven fabric industry from 2021 to 2023. Some of the content can be traced back to 2010 or even earlier, to provide readers with more rich and complete information.
