On August 29th, the Carbon Road Future Green Fiber Special Session of the Fiber New Vision · Textile Material Innovation Forum debuted at the 2023 Autumn/Winter Yarn Exhibition. This forum gathered numerous enterprise experts, focusing on recycling and reusing chemical fibers, sustainable development, differentiated functional products, and high-performance fibers.

Cao Xiuyu, the person in charge of the trustworthy platform for green fiber products at Jiangsu New Vision Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center Co., Ltd., shared the construction situation of the trustworthy platform for green fiber products. He pointed out that the trusted platform for green fiber products is guided by the Consumer Products Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Suzhou Market Supervision Administration and jointly operated by the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association and the National Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center. The platform uses blockchain technology and is built through Internet means such as the Internet of Things blockchain trusted application system, the national industrial Internet identification resolution secondary node, and the supply chain traceability system. At present, the platform can achieve data exchange and interconnection throughout the entire process of the recycled fiber industry chain, solving the problems of disorderly trading markets and low information level of trading platforms in the recycled polyester fiber industry chain and improving the credibility and traceability of China's green fiber products.

Dai Shanshan, Senior Marketing Manager for the Asia Pacific region of Evergrande Color and Additives Business Unit, gave a report on Evergrande's Sustainable Development. She introduced that in the context of sustainable development becoming a global consensus, Evergrande Group, as a professional global supplier of polymer materials, services, and solutions, adheres to the concept of sustainable development and provides customized sustainable solutions, including 8 feasible paths, for raw material coloring fiber manufacturers. Evergrande has joined the Ending Plastic Waste Alliance, vigorously developing a circular economy and reducing carbon footprint. Meanwhile, Evergrande has set sustainable development goals to increase the packaging recyclability rate to 100%. By 2030, 60% of electricity will come from renewable energy, and by 2050, 100% of electricity will come from renewable energy. In terms of products, Evergrande has launched new functional products such as photothermal storage, tracking agents, and biodegradation accelerators based on traditional additive solutions such as antibacterial, flame retardant, cooling, and sun protection.

Tian Tian, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Runhe Nanomaterial Technology Co., Ltd. reported on the product upgrade of built-in inorganic antibacterial agents for spinning. She introduced that NAFUR spinning grade antibacterial agents/masterbatch can be added immediately during the production of polyester, nylon, polypropylene, or composite fibers, whether sportswear, shoes and socks, or home textile products, which can maintain long-lasting freshness. NAFUR spinning grade antibacterial agent has the characteristics of a high antibacterial rate, ultra-fine particle size, regular morphology, excellent spinnability, and high cost-effectiveness. It adopts slow-release technology to effectively help extend textiles’s wearing and use cycle, reflecting green and environmental protection characteristics. It has obtained CIAA/SIAA certification and can be applied to various specifications of short fibers, high-speed spinning long fibers, irregular fibers, ultra-fine denier fibers, polyester composite fibers, melt-blown nonwoven fabrics, etc.

Liu Ning from Suzhou Jiahai Special Fiber Co., Ltd. presented a report on the authenticity of OBP ocean regeneration and GRS regeneration. He believes that certification agencies should actively fulfill their responsibilities, establish closed-loop supply mechanisms for upstream and downstream industrial chains, and rely on regeneration testing standards to improve the credibility of the regeneration industry chain and marine regeneration. Suzhou Jiahai products include OBP marine regeneration and environmentally friendly nanogene fibers. Among them, environmentally friendly nanogene fibers have nanostructures and have functions such as UV resistance and far-infrared thermal storage and warmth preservation.

Luo Qiuying from Zhejiang Qianxi Longxian Special Fiber Co., Ltd. presented a report on developing and applying of new lightweight and tear resistant Kulai silk fabrics. She said that Cooles ®, belonging to ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers has the characteristic of low density. The tear strength of Kulai silk fabric is twice that of ordinary fabric. Cool Laisi ® The tear strength of the three-in-one fabric is cooler than that of Laisi ®. The fabric is 40% higher. At present, Kulaisi products are mainly used in the clothing, luggage, outdoor equipment, and military industry.

Li Lijuan from Hangzhou Yongfang Textile Co., Ltd. presented a report on applying functional acrylic fibers in the field of inner clothing. She introduced that dry spinning acrylic products have been applied to multiple brand products. Dry spinning acrylic fiber benefits from its irregular structural morphology, making it fluffy, warm, moisture absorbing and, quick drying, and UV resistant. In addition, the fabric has excellent anti-pilling and anti-static functions.

Chen Huifen, Business Development Manager of Yaoyuan (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd., reported on the situation of drymotion products. Drymotion is the only dry spinning acrylic product in the Americas, with the feel and comfort of cotton, as well as significant insulation and UV resistance effects. At present, the product is applied in multiple fields such as energetic clothing and sportswear. |
